La Pavoni Evoluzione
La Pavoni has a rich history in coffee and specifically the manufacture of espresso machines. Desiderio Pavoni built the very first espresso machine in 1905. Over the years La Pavoni built many iconic machine but it is the Europiccola Lever machine that brought espresso into the home in 1961 and may La Pavoni a household name.
Apart from the domestic lever machines La pavoni mostly manufactured commercial machines until in 2011 the Uinvest Group(Holding company that owned La Pavoni at the time)acquired the ECM SRL company together with the rights and IP of the company. The range of E61 style domestic machines are direct offsprings of that acquisition.
The Evoluzione is loaded with features and is made of high quality polished stainless steel. It has a number of features that are not often gound on similar machines, like the plumb in kit that comes with the machine. The pressure gauge on the group head and the cool touch steam and hot water wands are also not very common on machines in this category. The rotary pump(very quiet and durable) is also unusual at this price point.
Overall this machines offer exceptional value.
