The E24 of the Gaggia Classic is the latest derivative of this machine. Appropriately name "Classic" the Gaggia Classic is indeed just that. It was launched the first time in 1991 and it was a development of the Gaggia Baby which was launched as early as 1977. 

The E24 has received a number of updates over the previous model including a bigger brass boiler, upgraded steam wand, improved drip tray, quieter operation due tom improved pump mounting
