If you think you have been making a mean cuppa using your machine, think again. What was a good cup before, is now a professional brew. Well worth it if you are trying to hone your skills as a barista. It was good to get some of the theory in from the plant, to the brew. Understanding what is happening with your machine and the beans helped me to understand the process better and seeing how to create an arty tulip from the frothed milk has also showed me what I was doing wrong. Certainly something to experience.

The Anna is an Italian-designed and built single-boiler machine, equipped with innovative PID temperature control for outstanding temperature stability. In addition to the espresso grouphead, the machine operates with a single boiler that also powers a steam wand for both steam and hot water, easily controlled by traditional lever switches. Drawing from their larger machines, Lelit designed this system to ensure excellent thermal stability throughout, with minimal heating and recovery times.
The Anna boasts a generous 2.7L water tank—a rare feature in home espresso machines—that feeds into a 250ml boiler, bringing the machine to brewing temperature in just a few minutes. While it comes with a plastic tamper, you may want to upgrade to the Presso 57mm tamper and 57mm naked portafilter for even more precise espresso shots right from the start.
